It's short, sweet, but you wish it was longer and provided a better challenge. So much more potential could have gone in to that, but they blew it. My biggest gripe would be the secret final mission after collecting 84 gold brick, also known as The Ride. The difficulty one shows in the boss fights, but unless it the kraken, it's mostly going to be a steamroll with one or two hits killing most enemies but that's to be expected from a kids game. I wish there was more game to play since the Lego games have always been short, but amazing. The puzzles are great, but the difficulty is easy coming from my experience and the game being made for kids. Each character in the roster feels unique in a way, it makes me with there was more to the game. Jack Sparrow is represented so well via animation, and I know this even without being so well versed in the Pirates of the Caribbean lore. The character are also amazing in their own regards.

The cutscenes are some of the best experiences I've had in the entire game and their replication of the movies are great with the exception of not being able to understand some key moments due to the lack of voice action which I will not deduct on due to being an iconic feature of Lego games. Animations are repetitious, but goofy and fluid. Going in I'd say the graphics are nice and aged well. Going in, I recommend turn off V-sync (required) and maybe turn on Windows 7 compatibility mode to prevent the crashing. LEGO® Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game is pretty underrated, as one popular Lego YouTuber puts it.
